Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 3, 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to SimpleGantt (“we”, “our”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you visit our website and use (or plan to use) our application.

The project is operated by:
Maciej Dębiec
Poland

If you have any questions, you can contact us at: getrapidsoftware@gmail.com

2. Information We Collect

a) Information You Provide

We may collect personal information that you voluntarily provide, including:

  • Email address (e.g., when signing up for a waitlist, newsletter, or early access)

b) Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain information, such as:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type
  • Pages visited and time spent on the website

This data is collected using cookies and similar technologies.

3. Use of Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Provide and improve our website and future application
  • Communicate with you (e.g., updates, early access, product news)
  • Analyze website traffic and user behavior
  • Ensure security and prevent misuse

4. Future Application Data

Once SimpleGantt is fully developed, we may collect and process additional data, including:

  • User account information (e.g., email, login details)
  • Project data (e.g., tasks, timelines, dependencies)
  • Usage data within the application

This data will be used solely to provide and improve the service.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies in three categories:

  • Strictly necessary – required to keep you signed in and keep your session secure (e.g., Supabase authentication cookies). These are always active and cannot be disabled, as the Service cannot function without them.
  • Analytics – PostHog, used to understand how visitors use our website and how customers use the Simple Gantt application.
  • Advertising – Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Pixel (Facebook), used to measure the performance of our marketing campaigns and show relevant ads on Meta platforms.

On our public website (outside the logged-in application), analytics and advertising cookies are only set after you accept them via the cookie banner shown on your first visit. You can decline just as easily as you can accept, and you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer.

Once you create an account and use the Simple Gantt application, PostHog analytics run on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Service you've signed up for, as described in our Terms of Service; these are not subject to the website's cookie banner.

6. Analytics and Advertising

We use the following third-party tools:

  • PostHog (hosted in the EU) – product and website analytics
  • Google Analytics – to analyze website traffic
  • Google Ads – to measure and improve advertising performance
  • Meta Pixel (Facebook) – to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and to enable us to show relevant ads to people who have visited our website

These services may use cookies and collect data about your interactions with our website and (for PostHog, once you have an account) the application.

You can learn more about how Google uses data here: https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads

You can learn more about how Meta uses data here: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We may share data only with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., analytics tools) necessary to operate the website and future application.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to:

  • Provide services
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Improve our product

As a user in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Object to processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time (cookie consent can be withdrawn instantly via the “Cookie Settings” link in the footer)

To exercise your rights, contact us at: getrapidsoftware@gmail.com

10. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.
